Not enough vitamin D
New Children's research conducted in a general pediatric clinic showed an alarmingly high percentage of infants and toddlers with inadequate levels of vitamin D. The study, published in the June Issue of Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, found 40% of the children tested to have below average levels of vitamin D, a nutrient critical in the development of good bone health.
