Children's Hospital Boston Experts Available to Comment on Flu, Vaccine Shortage
What: Children's Hospital Boston has a number of nationally recognized experts on infectious disease who are available to comment on the flu in light of the vaccine shortage occurring in the United States this year. Providing a range of expertise on the topic, Children's Hospital Boston has experts who can discuss tips for parents to help their children avoid contracting the virus, how to identify symptoms if you or your child has contracted the virus, treatment options, epidemiological issues surrounding the vaccine shortage including how this year's flu rate is expected to be the same as the last few years, and most importantly, what the vaccine shortage means for you and your family's health.

Why: With the recent news that the nation is experiencing a shortage in its supply of flu vaccine, parents are in need of information that will help them determine if their child should be vaccinated and/or how to prevent their child from contracting the virus.
