  Consortium Discussion Groups Guidelines

The Consortium Discussion Groups gives users a place to meet, interact, and share knowledge and information with each other. Just like a real community, you may share different opinions with other Consortium Discussion Group users. The Consortium Discussion Groups experience is best when people remember a few rules. The Consortium presents the terms and conditions of the use of this service in the Consortium Terms of Service, the Guidelines, and in other rules that are placed on the site. As you use the Consortium Bulletin Board, some of the key points to remember are:

  1. You may not harass, abuse, threaten, or advocate violence against other members or individuals.
  2. You may not post content that is harmful to minors.
  3. You may not post content that is obscene, otherwise objectionable, or in violation of federal or state law.
  4. Stay on topic. Although all categories and topics are different, most participants appreciate it when you stay on topic. If you constantly stray from topic, you may be moderated or removed from a category or topic altogether by its owner.
  5. You may not add members to a category or topic without their permission.
  6. You may not use the Consortium Bulletin Board for commercial or advertising purposes.
  7. You may not post content which infringes upon the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of third parties.
  8. Some content may be more appropriate in some contexts than in others. Consortium reserves the right to remove content that it determines, at its sole discretion, to be inappropriate and in violation of the rules. Discussions or depictions of inappropriate behavior or other exploitative contents are prohibited.
  9. You may not use the Discussion Groups solely for the purpose of storing and archiving files.
If you are unsure whether content is consistent with these policies, please use caution and do not post your content on the Consortium Discussion Groups or any other Consortium community area.

Consortium's Right to Terminate.

The Consortium Discussion Groups, at its sole discretion, may terminate or remove any content, Category, Topic, or Consortium ID immediately and without notice if (a) the Consortium believes that you have acted inconsistently with the spirit or the letter of the Consortium's Terms of Service or the Consortium Discussion Groups Guidelines, or (b) Consortium believes you have violated or tried to violate the rights of others. Please help us keep Consortium Discussion Groups an enjoyable and positive experience. If you see a Topic or Category or content that violates our rules, please let us know by contacting us.
