NSTAR Walk

NSTar walk for Boston Children'sAs we do every year, the Pediatric Transplant Center has a team that participates in NSTAR'S Walk for Boston Children's Hospital. Every penny raised by our team goes into our Transplant Special Needs Fund, which helps families in need offset some of the costs associated with transplant, like public transportation, food, lodging and anti-rejection medication. This fund also, in part, supports the annual Family Celebration Day and our new Teen Events, specifically designed for adolescent transplant recipients. As always, we invite you walk with us or to sponsor our team.

Our goal this year is $35,000, and we know we can reach that with your support! Here are three ways you can support the Pediatric Transplant Center’s Walk Team:

Join the Pediatric Transplant Center Team
To register, log on to: www.childrenshospital.org/walk. During the registration process, join the Pediatric Transplant Center team.

Become a virtual walker
If you cannot make it to walk day, you can still raise funds and receive all the same benefits as a regular walker by being a virtual walker. To register, log on to: www.childrenshospital.org/walk. Choose the option of being a virtual walker, and join the Pediatric Transplant Center Team during your registration.

Support a Pediatric Transplant Center team member
Log on to: www.childrenshospital.org/walk. Click on “Support a Walker” and then click on “Search for a Team.” Find the Pediatric Transplant Center Team, and choose the name of any walker to support and donate to them directly.
