  • One family takes on Moyamoya with twin surgeries

    (01:55)

Twins Ryan and Tyler, age 8, both have moyamoya disease. Without surgery, moyamoya poses a 5-year stroke risk of 50 to 90 percent. Ryan had already suffered two strokes, and Tyler was at risk as well. The family needed to act quickly.
