Travel and Accommodations Assistance

Seeking healthcare abroad is complex enough without the added worry of making travel arrangements and finding a place to stay for your family. We take care of the details and simplify the process as much as possible, so you can focus on the care and well-being of your child.

We provide assistance with all travel planning, including obtaining visas, finding and scheduling flights, and arranging transportation to and from the airport. In addition, we can help locate and secure comfortable accommodations for your family during your stay in Boston.

Accommodations

The area surrounding the hospital offers several options to suit your family's preferences and budget. We can assist with reservations at local hotels and inns (many of which offer discounts to families whose children are in the hospital), and we can also help coordinate short-term house or apartment rentals, which may be a good solution if you need to stay in the Boston area for a longer period of time.

In addition, any family that travels to the hospital from more than 50 miles away is eligible for the Patient Family Housing Program, which provides affordable rooms ($30 per night) in a homelike environment that features a kitchen, living areas, free Internet access, free laundry facilities, and a 24-hour staff. The program books reservations for stays of four nights or longer up to three months in advance.
