Physicians, payers, and embassies can refer patients to the hospital, to a particular medical or surgical specialty, or to an individual specialist. Physicians can also seek second opinions on behalf of their patients.
Our full-service International Center assists families and health professionals with patient intake, appointment scheduling, travel and accommodations, interpreters and translation, financial arrangements, and more.
Boston Children's Hospital is committed to providing high-quality continuing education to pediatric providers and specialists throughout the world. We offer several professional development resources for clinicians, including observerships, fellowships, and surgery training programs.
The Global Pediatrics Program partners with care providers around the world -- including hospitals, clinics, university programs, and ministries of health -- to create and implement innovative healthcare services that target major threats to child survival and well-being.
A web-based digital learning platform designed for physicians and nurses across the world who care for critically ill children, OPENPediatrics offers virtual training, tools for sharing knowledge and communicating with other health professionals, and a library of content resources.
Boston Children's Hospital uses digital technologies to provide patient care, professional consultations, and education at a distance, enabling our clinicians to efficiently extend their expertise beyond the traditional brick-and-mortar settings of the hospital and outpatient clinic.
