Pre-Arranged Airport Patient Assistance
Boston's main airport is Logan International Airport (Airport code: BOS). All requests for assistance at Logan International Airport must be received by Children's International Center at least 48 hours in advance of your departure from home.
To request assistance at Logan Airport, please contact your patient represenative at the Children's International Center at (617) 355-5209 or by email. Requests must be made three days prior to your arrival in the US.
When you call us to request assistance, please have the following trip details:
- Name of airline
- Flight number
- Departure and arrival times
- Names of ALL family members traveling with you
- Primary language
Please contact us if any of your plans change.
When you arrive at Logan International Airport, you will be greeted at a predetermined point by a Logan Airport Patient Assistant who speaks your native language. The meeting place will be decided when you call to request assistance.
If you do not request airport assistance or don't ask for transportation arranged for you, please make sure to contact the International Center at 617-355-5209, as soon as you and your family arrive at your hotel or the place where you will be staying.
It is essential that the International Center know your location while in Boston so physicians or your patient representative will be able to contact you during your stay. The International Center is required to keep this information up-to-date.
