External Connectivity assists community primary care providers, with Active, Courtesy, or Adjunct staff appointments, securely access their patients' medical information through the Children's Hospital Boston computer system in order to provide seamless healthcare management. This service offers community physicians the ability to communicate with and directly refer to Children's specialists. Connectivity offers several other enhancements providing improved efficiency in managing a patient's care in either the inpatient or out-patient setting.
