Joshua Farber-Sault joined Children's Hospital Boston more than six years ago, starting out as a clinical assistant. Nursing, says Farber-Sault, is "in [his] blood", and became a calling. His brother is also a nurse on staff at Children's Emergency Services and their mother is a nurse.
I was very impressed from the very beginning about the professionalism and the way people lit up when people spoke about the hospital or told stories about their years working here - that's what really attracted me here.
For me, it's all about people that I work with. We work so work well together, we're able to get together and do what we need to do and we can anticipate each other's needs and be there for each other.[It's] the camaraderie, the cooperation, plus the patients - that's the bottom line for me, it's the patients that bring me back everyday.
