Dentists have been vital in Children's efforts to treat pediatric patients. In addition to providing routine dental care, dentists treated children with major craniofacial problems. In 1935, Paul Losch, DMD, arrived at Children's, where he remained until 1969. His work led to the development of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
