Serving as an advisory board to Children's Hospital Boston in matters pertaining to Martha Eliot Health Center, the Community Advisory Board may have up to 14 members who each serve two-year terms and are required to be either JP residents, consumers of the health center or persons with special skills needed by the board. The board assists Children's in the selection of leadership for the health center, determines the programs necessary to address the needs of the community and advises Children's on the health center's annual budget.
