Joseph Carrillo, MD, and Karen Darcy, RN, played an important role during the 1990's at Martha Eliot Health Center. Carrillo was the executive director from 1993 to 2001, and Darcy served as the assistant director during this time. They were a strong leadership team that worked tirelessly to deliver the best possible services to the community. They worked to strengthen the partnership with Children's Hospital Boston and were instrumental in moving Martha Eliot Health Center into its current location. "It's about getting into the fabric of our community," says Darcy, "We're genuinely committed to the community and we're involved in their tragedies, accomplishments and celebrations."
