Weather Update

A winter storm is anticipated for Tuesday morning with accumulations in the Boston area of 10-12 inches and snow continuing through the evening commute. Employees are encouraged to allow more time for their morning and afternoon commute and to anticipate delays.

MBTA Services

At this time, the MBTA is running normal operations. Riders should anticipate delays and some service restrictions. Please use caution boarding buses and on train platforms during icy weather conditions.

Employee Parking

Off-site parking facilities are open and shuttles are running. Employees should please plan to park in their usual location. Evening on-site parkers will be permitted to enter the Patient Family Garage after noon today. Please pull a ticket and see the cashier on exit if necessary.


Shuttle Updates

The shuttles will adhere to their schedules on a weather and traffic permitting basis, please plan accordingly and anticipate delays.

North Station Shuttle - The North Station Shuttle will run early afternoon shuttles departing at 12:30 pm, 1 pm, 1:30 pm and 2 pm.  Beginning with the 2:30 pm shuttle, the shuttle will run every 15 mins until 7 pm.

Please note that the last run to North Station will be 7 pm WEATHER PERMITTING.

Beacon Shuttle - The Beacon Shuttle will run early afternoon shuttles starting at 12 pm. It will be running every 10-15 minutes, weather permitting.

1295/Landmark Shuttle - The 1295/Landmark Shuttle is running on its normal schedule, weather permitting.

Renaissance Shuttle - The Renaissance Shuttle is running on its normal schedule, weather permitting.

BCH Ruggles Express Shuttle - The Ruggles Express Shuttle will run early afternoon shuttles starting at 12 pm.  The shuttle will run every 30 mins from 12 pm to 6 pm, weather permitting.

Waltham Shuttle - The Waltham Shuttle will have early afternoon departures from Boston and Waltham.

-Boston departures are at 12:10 pm, 1:10 pm, 2:10 pm, 3:20 pm, 4:10 pm and 5:10 pm.

-Waltham departures are at 1:10 pm, 2:10 pm, 3:10 pm, 4:10 pm, 5:10 pm, and 6:10 pm.

Please note that the last run out of Boston at 5:10 pm and Waltham at 6:10 pm WEATHER PERMITTING.



For employees that have secured rooms at Fenway Area hotels, we are planning shuttle transportation departing Tuesday night from Children's Way at 8 pm and 11:30 pm.

A return trip is planned for 5:30 am and 6:30 am leaving from Holiday Inn on Wednesday.

Our current list of hotels we will be serving is:

  • Holiday Inn (First Stop)
  • Buckminster
  • Courtyard by Marriott - Brookline Avenue
  • Commonwealth Hotel
  • Verb

Please note that these shuttles will only be running if road conditions permit. We will not send out shuttles if it is unsafe to do so.

Traffic conditions may impact morning pick up times as well so employees who are concerned about getting to the hospital at a specific time should make other arrangements.
