I believe that effective care is both patient- and family-centered care. I create treatment plans that meet patients and families where they are, honor and respect diversity and culture, address bio-psycho-social-developmental elements, and capitalize on strengths and resiliency. Building strong rapport with patients, families, and colleagues is key.

    Professional History

After teaching internationally for five years, I moved to San Francisco to pursue graduate school in child clinical psychology. I have trained and worked in a variety of settings including academic medical centers, public hospitals, community mental health centers, juvenile justice systems, and inpatient psychiatric units. I am passionate about understanding the ways in which trauma and adversity impacts development and attachment. I love working with the Psychiatry Consultation Service and appreciate our team's emphasis on teaching, supervision, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
