Dr. Karin Herzog is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist at Boston Children's Hospital. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York. Dr. Herzog completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at Seattle Children's Hospital and the University of Washington, where she concurrently received a Master of Science in Dentistry.

Dr. Herzog is an active researcher in pediatric dentistry, with an extensive interdisciplinary background in economics, statistics and large scale data analysis. Dr. Herzog was awarded the NuSmile Research Award in 2015 for her research on the use of a laser in the diagnosis of caries in children. Her research interests include early detection, prevention, and management of caries, and the impact of oral health on medicine and the community.
