Philosophy of Care

First of all I love children and I think that they deserve the best. I believe that caring for children and their families is the most important job in the world. It is so exciting to work with the children and families seeking care with us in the Colorectal and Pelvic Malformation Center. I am so happy to be a part of a service that provides life changing procedures that improves the overall quality of life for our patients and their families.

I have practiced as a nurse for 31 years and an NP for 21 of those years. I have had a rich and fulfilling care in pediatrics. I have had the pleasure of serving my country for 8.5 years in the military. I have worked in the public school setting, primary care, emergency departments, urgent care and now colorectal surgery.
