Philosophy of Care

I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare, but I'm lucky to have found the perfect mix of all my interests with my job as a nurse practitioner. I get to follow and care for patients and families from their first office visit through until follow up. Helping patients get better is the reason I love my job.

I obtained my BA in Behavioral Neuroscience from Colgate University in 2006. After working in clinical research for two years, I then got my BSN from Georgetown University in 2009. After nursing school, I worked as a staff nurse on a neuroscience unit at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC. I then moved and took a job as a staff nurse at Boston Children's Hospital on their neuroscience unit in 2012. While working, I obtained my MSN as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Northeastern University in 2017. I began working as a Nurse Practitioner in the Cerebrovascular Surgery and Interventions Center in January of 2018.
