It’s MAGEC: new type of scoliosis surgery sparks a smile

Seven-year-old David is one of first U.S. patients to have MAGEC surgery for scoliosis. The magnetic growing rods mean he no longer needs a back brace and will have to have far fewer surgeries during childhood.
