Ensuring patient and staff safety during coronavirus

Ensuring patient and staff safety during the pandemic

Boston Children's is taking additional steps during the current COVID-19 outbreak to protect patients, families, and staff.

A letter to our patients and families

Boston Children’s Hospital can confirm less than 135 patients have tested positive for COVID-19 and are in our care or have been discharged and are following CDC guidelines at home. We are working closely with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health by following their protocol. Since mid-January, our leadership team has been meeting multiple times a week to prepare for this scenario and to ensure that all protocols are followed. We are working around the clock to ensure the safety of our patients and the entire community during this unprecedented time.
