The Pulmonary Hypertension Program at Children's Hospital Boston provides clinical care, information and resources for individuals and families with pulmonary hypertension, a rare blood vessel disorder that results in high blood pressure in the lungs.

The program is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of cardiovascular specialists.

Shannon's story
Laura and Bill O'Donnell were very confused. Their daughter, Shannon, had fainted several times and was frequently tired. In 2001, after doctors noticed an irregular heartbeat, Shannon came to Children's.
