How You Can Help |
Our goal is to improve the care of those with congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertensive disorders. Below are some ways in which you can help.
- Become an educated consumer. Research your illness. Learn your diagnostic and therapeutic options. Push us to learn more about these options as well.
- Become an advocate. Join and become involved in advocacy groups such as ACHA.
- Participate in research. By helping us understand more about your illness, you can help us improve and advance future care.
- Donate. Support clinical care and research projects through the BACH fund. Every little bit helps to benefit someone who could not otherwise financially make ends meet in their battle with illness; create better teaching tools to improve patient understanding of illness and its effects on quality of life; and support the development of new clinical programs such as the Transition Clinic, psychiatric counseling (WATCH: Wellness and Activity Through Counseling to Health), and conception and contraception counseling (SWADL: Safe Women and Deliveries for Life).
