The BACH service provides 24-hour access to consultation and care. Urgent office visits can be arranged as needed, in addition to timely routine follow-up appointments. Communication with primary care providers is prompt.
The service provides:
Patient and family teaching and care for acute medical needs as well as preventative health maintenance and improvement.
Access to patient, family, social and emotional support groups, liaisons and conferences.
Institution and promotion of patient care and management guidelines.
Leadership in therapeutic advances and trials.
Access for regional, national and international physicians and medical care providers for consultation, coordinated care provision for patients and training.
