Clinical Program

Liver Tumor Program

The Liver Tumor Program at Dana-Farber/Children's Hospital Cancer Center provides a multidisciplinary, individualized approach to the management of children with malignant and benign tumors of the liver. We accept patient referrals for treatment, second opinion requests and consultative requests regarding the potential need for liver transplantation. Our team, which includes expert radiologists and pathologists, also accepts referrals for radiologic second opinions to determine resectability of tumors and to advise on the need for liver transplantation.

As a program within Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a Boston Children's Oncology Group (COG) institution, we provide care for patients with hepatoblastoma and other hepatic neoplasms who are enrolled in COG therapeutic trials.
