Child Neurology Residency Training Program
Requirements
-
Two years of training in pediatrics or one year of training in pediatrics and one year of neuroscience research are required for entry into the Child Neurology Residency Training Program at Boston Children's Hospital.
-
Because the Boston Children's Hospital Pediatric Residency and Boston Children's Hospital Child Neurology Residency are separate programs, applicants seeking pediatric residency training at Boston Children's Hospital must apply separately to the Department of Medicine at Children's and/or other pediatric programs for their pediatric training.
- Alternatively, individuals are eligible for application to our program if they have completed a PGY-1 in medicine in association with one residency year (PGY-2) in pediatrics.
The Department of Neurology currently accepts five new residents into its training program each year. In the fall of 2012, we will be reviewing applications for all training slots of the residency class that will start in July 2015.
