Down Syndrome Program

THE DOWN SYNDROME PROGRAM in the Developmental Medicine Center at Children's Hospital Boston offers multidisciplinary clinical evaluations for people with Down syndrome from birth until the age of 18. The Down Syndrome Program at Children's Hospital Boston is more than a clinic, however. We strive to provide resources, advocacy, and supports to all families, depending on their individual needs.

Opportunity to Participate in the New National Down Syndrome Registry Project

All current patients in the Down Syndrome Program at Children's Hospital Boston are invited to participate in a project to build a national registry to track the health and medical history of people with Down syndrome across their lives.  Health information will be collected from existing and future medical records, so there are no extra study visits or procedures.  This Longitudinal Down Syndrome Study (LDSS) is taking place at Children's Hospital Boston, as well as other centers specializing in Down syndrome clinical care and research.  For more information, please contact Lauren Voelz.

For more detailed information please read our consent form.
