Who we are
The Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disease Program treats kids and adolescents with eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders (EGIDs), rare conditions that can occur when there are high levels of eosinophils - a type of white blood cell that is involved in allergic reactions - in one or more parts of the digestive system.
Our expertise
The Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disease Program at Children's is the only multidisciplinary program in the Northeast that cares for children with EGIDs. Our team includes gastroenterologists, allergists, dieticians, a clinical social worker and a nurse practitioner.
