Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program
The Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program at Children’s offers several key services, including:
- early identification of, and interventions for, developmental delays and disorders
- psychological assessments to identify cognitive, learning, behavioral and social-emotional concerns
- support for expectant parents whose babies have been diagnosed with cardiac disease in utero
- interventions to address regulatory disorders in infants, such as feeding, sleeping and behavioral difficulties
- school consultations to help educators devise special education plans
