Hypertension Program

Research

Clinicians in our Hypertension Program are currently taking part in a multisite trial to evaluate the safety and appropriate dosing of a new antihypertensive agent for the pediatric population.

Our clinicians are also involved with:

• Assessing our approach to the evaluation and treatment of children with hypertension, ensuring optimal quality of care

• Educating  physicians, physicians in training, clinical assistants, nurses and other staff members about the appropriate method to measure children’s blood pressure and how to distinguish normal from elevated blood pressure values
