The Mayo Family Pediatric Pain Rehabilitation Center (PPRC) serves the needs of children and adolescents with chronic musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain. Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), also known as reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD), is the most common diagnosis given to children referred to our center.
While many children and adolescents improve with standard outpatient care, a slight percentage may require intensive daily treatment to get well. The PPRC provides an intensive daily program designed to facilitate recovery from these disorders.
Program participants are typically between 7 and 18 years old.
The PPRC is located at Children's Hospital Boston at Waltham. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
