Dr. Kim serves as both the Director of the Pediatric Transplant Center and Surgical Director of the Liver, Intestine and Multivisceral Transplant Programs. He is currently the only pediatric transplant surgeon in New England who is fellowship-trained in both pediatric surgery and liver transplantation. Dr. Kim and his colleagues performed the first successful multivisceral transplant in New England and the world's smallest multivisceral transplant in a 7 lb baby. He also developed the Serial Transverse Enteroplasty (STEP) procedure for short bowel syndrome. He holds an Academic Appointment as Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School.

Laura began her nursing career at Children's Hospital Boston in 1995 as a Clinical Staff Nurse in the ICU before transitioning over to the Liver Transplant Program in 2000 as a Liver Transplant Coordinator and Nurse Practitioner. She was appointed Director of Transplant Nursing for the Pediatric Transplant Center in 2007. Laura received both her BS in Nursing and Master of Science degree in Nursing from Boston College.

Katherine joined the Pediatric Transplant Center when it was formed in 2006 and brings over 5 years of healthcare leadership experience. She received her Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) degree from The George Washington University with a double concentration in Acute Care Management and Maternal & Child Health Policy. Katherine completed her Administrative Residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC.

Kelbe has been a part of the Pediatric Transplant Center since January 2007 and with Children's Hospital Boston for the past 3 years. Kelbe brings 17 years of healthcare experience with the past 6 years working directly in patient finance.
