| A member of the PTC Team enjoys the 2007 Walk festivities. |
The Pediatric Transplant Center Team will again be taking part in NSTAR's Walk for Children's Hospital Boston. The walk will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2008 along the Charles River beginning at the Hatch Shell.
100% of donations to the Pediatric Transplant Center Team will go into a PTC account to benefit transplant patients and families. The majority of proceeds will help support those families in financial need of necessities such as immunosuppression medications, lodging and food, among other things. A smaller portion of the contributions will go towards our 2nd Annual Family Celebration Day - an event designed to bring patients and their families together outside of the hospital to celebrate and learn more about transplant care.
Visit the PTC Walk Team Website to join the team or sponsor a walker and help us reach our goal of raising $70,000!
Thank you to all team members and sponsors!

In honor of National Donate Life Month, the Pediatric Transplant Center hosted a booth in the hospital lobby to raise awareness of the importance of organ and tissue donation. The booth was staffed by Children's Hospital Boston staff members along with transplant recipients and their families.
The PTC provided members of the hospital community, including patients and visitors, information on how to become an organ donor and were available to answer questions.
