In the Gender Management Service (GeMS) Clinic at Boston Children’s Hospital , we do our best to make each visit as convenient and comfortable as possible for the you and your child.

Planning ahead and being prepared helps ease the way and decrease your wait. A good way to do this is by filling out paperwork beforehand and bringing it with you to your appointment along with your insurance information. If a clinician outside of Children’s is referring you, it's also helpful to bring a letter of what the doctor’s concerns are.
