Project Protection at the Martha Eliot Health Center provides pre- and post- HIV testing and counseling. These services are free, confidential, and are offered by walk-in or appointment. We also provide HIV, STD and Hepatitis B prevention education.
Social Case Management Services are provided to ensure that all clients with HIV have access to housing, substance abuse services, legal services, and health insurance.
Medical Case Management Services are provided to ensure that individuals with HIV/AIDS receive quality primary and specialized medical care that meets their individual needs. Our program is staffed by two physicians and a nurse practitioner with an expertise in HIV treatment.
The staff of the social and medical case management services works in collaboration with the staff of the human services department to ensure that all clients with HIV/AIDS have access to mental health services as needed.
Emergency Medical Management Services (EMMS) covers primary medical care expenses for our uninsured HIV/AIDS patients.
