Clinical Program

Martha Eliot Health Center

Women's Health Department

Martha Eliot Health Center is no longer accepting new Women's Health patients.

Current Women's Health patients should contact their Martha Eliot clinician about transitioning their care to a clinician at another health center or hospital.

Gynecologic and obstetric care in the Women's Health Department at Martha Eliot Health Center is provided by physicians,  nurse practitioners  and certified nurse midwives whose main goals are to prevent the development of health problems, and assist women in creating and maintaining healthy habits.  A part of every visit is devoted to education and encouraging our patients participate in decisions about their care.  Comprehensive family planning services through ABCD ( Action Boston Community Development) is available to all patients. Outpatient procedures such as colposcopy, biopsy and LEEP are perform on site.  Through a collaboration with DFCI/BWH – mammography van, we provide on site monthly breast cancer screening.
