Early Intervention Department
The Early Intervention (EI) Department at Martha Eliot Health Center provides family centered services to support the developmental progress of eligible children. Depending on the child's needs, the EI team may include a developmental specialist, social worker, physical therapist, speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist or other specialty provider.
Eligibility:
- Any child up to the age of three if he/she:
- Is diagnosed with a physical, emotional, or cognitive condition that may result in developmental delay
- Is at risk for developmental delay due to various biological and/or environmental factors
Goals/Services:
- Development screening and evaluation
- Home visit and therapies
- Play group
- Community Play Groups
- Open to public for children ages 0-3
- Offers a variety of community based playing for children
