The Human Services Department at the Martha Eliot Health Center offers a full range of psychiatric, psychological, and case management services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. We deal with issues such as depression, anxiety, behavioral and/or learning problems, crisis interventions and advocacy.
Some of the services we offer include counseling and therapy for the following:
- Children and teens with behavioral and/or learning problems.
- Families and couples troubled by marriage difficulties, separation, divorce, or parental stress.
- People with personal crises (death of a loved one, domestic violence).
- Substance abuse services for abusers and their families.
- Referral to special programs for pregnant teenagers, teen parents, and those
experiencing school difficulties.
- Assistance with applications for welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, and supplemental security income and housing.
- Referral to free or low-cost legal aid.
- Assistance for immigrants and their families.
