The doctors, nurses and staff of the Martha Eliot Health Center's Adult Clinic are working to prevent diseases, promote health and treat the illnesses of their patients. Our primary care services include diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, and health education. In addition, we help coordinate health care services including appointments with specialists, tests, procedures, and hospitalizations.
Services at the adult clinic include:
- General adult medicine
- Physical exams
- Urgent care (sick visits)
- Managing chronic diseases (diabetes, high blood pressure,
heart diseases, cancer and asthma)
- Referral to specialists
- Pre-Operative evaluation
- Health education
- Counseling & information about HIV/AIDS, weight loss, and smoking cessation
- Men's health (prostate and testicular exam)
