The Martha Eliot Health Center and Harvard Medical School collaborate on a weekly, year-long, mentorship program which centers on forming "buddy" relationships between medical students and young teens from the community.
Our mission is to enhance the life opportunities of underrepresented minority youth by having them develop relationships with medical or dental student mentors.
Through our program, youth improve their academic skills and explore career opportunities in the medical field. They also receive support and guidance with adolescent issues and, most importantly, develop meaningful and stable friendships.
