Emergency Psychiatry Service

We see more than 1,000 children and teens, ages 3 to 18 years old, every year after they are brought to the emergency room at Children's Division of Emergency Medicine.

The children and teens we see are usually brought to the emergency room because they are in crisis and need immediate assistance from a mental health professional.
