Under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Burns, Chief of the Division of Critical Care Medicine at Children's Hospital Boston, the videos on this website are part of a pilot project to bring pediatric intensive care resources to anyone -- in anyplace -- across the world by creating a web-based video library of notable clinicians speaking on essential topics in the care of a critically ill child. In essence, "Pediatric Intensive Care without walls or borders."
The specific objective of the video library going forward is to feature expert physicians from across the globe speaking on the full range of topics essential to pediatric critical care medicine. Please note that for practical reasons these pilot videos feature two physicians who are or were previously associated with Children's Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School.
