Adapted from the airline industry, the principles of Crisis Resource Management (CRM) serve to provide a formal framework for high-efficiency teamwork training. The cornerstones of our courses are the five main principles of CRM adapted from those originally described by Gaba et al.

To enhance communication and collaboration as well as opportunities for research, CRM training is standardized throughout Children's Hospital Boston.
