Comprised of two services, the Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy at Children's Hospital Boston provides evaluation, individualized treatment and a lifetime of follow-up care to newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with disabilities or complex medical needs.

Care is provided for patients with developmental, neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and bronchopulmonary disorders. We also provide care for injuries resulting from trauma, performing arts and sports.

provides assessment and treatment aimed at reducing the effect of disease or disability on individuals through exercise, activities and environmental adaptations

Occupational Therapy: provides assessment and treatment aimed at improving fine motor and visual perceptual skills for achieving independence in activities of daily living
