Diagnostic Audiology Program
The Diagnostic Audiology Program at Children's Hospital Boston offers comprehensive, expert evaluation and management of various degrees of hearing loss in infants, children, and adolescents.

Specially trained audiologists conduct diagnostic tests to:

  • assess hearing disorders
  • provide guidance to families of children with hearing loss
  • recommend appropriate care for hearing loss.

The Diagnostic Audiology Program provides more than 11,000 visits per year to children.

In the Spotlight
Walk-in Clinic
The Diagnostic Audiology Program offers a walk-in clinic at its Children's Hospital Boston location. To qualify for this "no appointment" hearing test, your child must:
  • be at least 3 years old
  • be typically developing
  • have no known hearing loss.

Please note that if your insurance requires a referral, the referral must be brought with you at the time of the visit.

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Scheduled appointments:
For children under 3 years old, children who do not have typical development, and children with known hearing loss
