The Speech-Language Pathology Program of Children's Hospital Boston offers a variety of specialized graduate internship opportunities for outstanding graduate students in Communication Disorders interested pediatric dysphagia, language and learning disabilities and numerous specialty interdisciplinary clinics.

All students are required to complete a six month rotation of two to three full days per week on a January 1 to June 30 or July 1 to December 31 cycle.

The Speech-Language Pathology Program has preferred affiliations with the Boston based graduate training programs although special arrangements may be made for students from other training facilities.

Additional opportunities for internships are available for Educators and Occupational Therapists interested in assistive technology.

Annual Lecture Series
The Harriet L. Needleman Lecture is a yearly event that addresses contemporary issues in communication disorders and is held in honor of Harriet L. Needleman, teacher, clinician and friend of the speech pathology program. The cost of attending the lecture is subsidized by the generous donations of her family, friends and colleagues.
