Know Your Coverage

Since all insurance company requirements vary, it is your responsibility to know your coverage.

Referrals

Many insurance companies require a referral from your primary care physician before you receive treatment.

If your insurer requires a referral, please request it immediately so it can be completed before your appointment.

Please check with your insurance company regarding developmental treatment and Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) coverage.

5-day Referral Period

If your insurance company requires you to obtain a referral and you do not have one when you come for your appointment, you will be asked to sign a waiver stating that you acknowledge that you do not have a referral for the service that day and that you are financially responsible for payment of that service.

If you provide an insurance referral within 5 business days after the appointment, the waiver will be destroyed and your insurance will be billed.
