When is it held?
Currently in its fourth season, the program consists of two 10-week sessions held in the fall and the spring.
What does the program teach?
The goal is for participants to develop an appreciation for dance and music and to improve their movement patterns, while increasing focus and creativity.
Participants enjoy a cheerful, positive, supportive environment led by Boston Ballet dance instructors, with assistance from Children's Hospital Physical Therapists and volunteers.

Positive Outcomes
The Departments of Physical Therapy and Developmental Medicine at Children's Hospital Boston have been awarded grant funding to expand the program and study the potential positive outcomes.
There are 24 Adaptive Dance Program participants enrolled in this study.
