The Division of Diagnostic Radiology at Children's Hospital Boston provides plain radiography (X-rays) and fluoroscopy. These diagnostic tests enable our pediatric radiologists to accurately assess and diagnose illnesses or injuries that affect the abdomen, chest, extremities, gastrointestinal tract, skull, spine and urinary tracts.
The division is responsible for the bulk of diagnostic exams performed at Children's. About 114,000 X-ray and fluoroscopy exams are performed here annually, making the hospital one of the country's largest general diagnostic radiology centers for children.
