Flower Cochlear Implant Team
The Cochlear Implant Team at Children's Hospital Boston provides children with cochlear implants, an electronic device that provides a sensation of hearing to individuals who are deaf.

The program, led by Greg Licameli, MD, is the largest and most comprehensive pediatric cochlear implant program in New England.

Expert Staff
The Cochlear Implant Team staff includes:
  • 4 surgeons
  • 4 audiologists
  • 2 psychologists
  • 2 speech-language pathologists
  • administrative coordinator
A developmental pediatrician, ophthalmologist, neurologist, geneticist, and other professionals participate in the team evaluation when appropriate.
