Programs for Parents
Image Behavior management training group for parents of pre-adolescent children

This group provides support and evidence-based strategies for parents and caregivers to effectively manage their children's behavioral challenges. This group is designed for parents of children with oppositional behavior, attention problems and other externalizing behaviors. Topics covered will include positive reinforcement, behavior-reward systems, use of time-out and other consequences, and stress management for parents.

Latino parent group

This is a time-limited, psycho-educational group, conducted in Spanish, for the caretakers of children under the age of 12. The group has a specific focus on teaching behavior management skills in the context of the Latino culture. The group will always meet in the morning.
Psychoeducational group for parents of medically ill children with organizational problems

Members will learn more about why children with medical illnesses can have these organizational challenges, how to develop routines and encourage the development of more independent skills, and will have opportunities to practice child management skills in a supportive environment.
